Coming Soon!  The Wilton Folk Café
Wilton has a new live music venue - the "Wilton Folk Cafe" at the Wilton Public and Gregg Free Library! This new coffeehouse series will open on Friday, October 5 with a rousing performance by The Rakes, an all-acoustic, multi-instrumental group that has been playing together for 20 years in the Souhegan area.
Future shows will feature a variety of folk and world music performers on November 2, January 4, February 1, March 1, and April 5.  The January 4 show will feature a variety of performers. The Wilton Folk Cafe seeks to provide an intimate setting for the enjoyment of acoustic music; a coffeehouse with the feel of a house concert. There will be time at the end of each concert for Q&A with the musicians.
Shows start at 7:30 pm, with doors opening at 7:00. Admission is free; donations are gratefully accepted. Refreshments will be served.
Wilton Public & Gregg Free Library, Wilton Main Street Association, Friends of the Wilton Library, and private donors sponsor the Wilton Folk Café.
