Join Juan Rodriguez from the Smithsonian’s National Zoo on a virtual field trip to the Zoo’s Conservation Biology Institute to meet and learn about clouded leopards! Juan will introduce students to the Zoo’s clouded leopards and will share some of the special features they have that make them excellent, though elusive, forest habitants. Juan will also share how he cares for them, how he got interested in a career as a Zookeeper, and how the Zoo is supporting the conservation of clouded leopards.
- This webinar is designed for students in grades 3-5. It will be approximately 45 minutes with interactive polls and Q&A, followed by an optional, extended 15-minute Q&A.
- This webinar complements the Animal Adaptations school program and can be used as an extension resource.
