|Description:||Jolabokaflod (Yule book flood) is the Icelandic tradition where books are given as gifts. This tradition started during the war when many items were too scarce, but books were available. The tradition of giving a book and enjoying it during the evening with chocolate has continued.
How to take part:
Bring a new or like new book, wrapped and with a short teaser about the plot attached.
We will display all the books, then each person will choose one.
If you choose a book you have already read, you can swap it Yankee Swap style.
