Author Quincy S. Abbot, author of From Schoolboy to Soldier: The Correspondence and Journals of Edward Stanley Abbot 1853-1863

From Schoolboy to Soldieris an intensely personal account of the short but meaningful life of a mid-19thcentury young New England lad, with roots in Wilton, who longed to become a writer, but who was wounded in battle and died at the age of 21. This program will be held at the library as part of Wiltonís Old Home Days celebration. Free and open to the public.
