Stony Brook Poetry Group
7:00 PM -
Meets every 2 weeks at the library.
This newly forming group is for anyone who writes poetry and is serious about the craft.  It is for individuals who enjoy seeing the architecture, hearing the voice, sharing what is essential in a given poem.
The purpose of this group is to provide positive feedback as directed by each member/writer.  The suggested format is that each writer reads an original poem to the group and provides copies so that individuals can write comments and perhaps questions on the poem.
There will also be a writing prompt offered at each meeting and opportunities to discuss the creative process.  Please bring the 12 copies of one poem to the first meeting.
