Meeting Rooms & Public Spaces

The library offers several public spaces for reading or quiet activity.  Upstairs, our reading room offers comfortable chairs for browsing books, magazines, or newspapers. Tables and chairs are available with computers in the bay window areas.  Downstairs, the rooms dedicated to children and teens include spaces for activities, study, and computer use. These rooms do not tend to be as quiet! We can't accomodate drop in needs for private spaces, or guarantee privacy.

Meeting space is available to Wilton community members and non-profit groups with an application and the approval of the library director.  To apply for meeting space, a Wilton resident must fill out an application and wait for approval from the director before the meeting is booked. Applicants will be required to read and sign the library meeting policy and procedures: click here to download our meeting room policy.

Those organizations that carry insurance must provide a valid certificate of insurance naming the library as an additional insured. Groups officially sponsored by the Town of Wilton have coverage under the town insurance policy.

Wilton businesses may request non-public use of the meeting rooms for internal staff development and business planning. Excluded are meetings for the purpose of sales, marketing, or entertainment.  Businesses must provide a valid certificate of insurance naming the library as an additional insured.

To reserve your space, download, complete, and submit the application form by email to wiltonlibrarynh@gmail.com or call us at (603) 654-2581 to begin the process.
