Preserving Our Past - Building Our Future

(The Whiting House Hotel, ca. 1873; Wilton Town Hall now occupies this spot)

The Wilton Historical Society is located on the top floor of the Wilton Public and Gregg Free
Library building at 7 Forest Road in Wilton, New Hampshire. The Historical Rooms
house numerous artifacts and documents encompassing Wilton’s intriguing past. The
rooms are open to the public every Thursday between 1:30 and 5:00 p.m., and the first
Saturday of each month between 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., unless the library is closed
due to bad weather or holidays, etc.

The Historical Society meets the second Thursday of September, November, April, and
June at 7 p.m. in the Historical Rooms. The public is welcome to attend. Programs are
presented at each meeting, covering subjects related to Wilton’s history.
